1. Something You Should Know Before Purchase a Valve Kit. VERY IMP0RTANT !!!
NG? LPG? Check fuel type in your house.
In most cases, your fuel type will be determined by where you live. Typically, urban and suburban homes will have natural gas (NG) delivered to the home via underground piping. Propane (LPG) is more common in rural areas where natural gas is not available and will be stored in tank on the property.
In either case, be sure to know your fuel type before purchasing your gas log set. Fireplace gas logs are designed to work specifically with either natural gas or propane. A natural gas system will not operate on propane, or vice versa.
18″ to 30″ Vented Log Sets Fireplace only
Vented log sets must be installed in an approved fireplace opening with a working chimney. This valve kit is ONLY for vented type fireplace.
For the best flame and heating performance, this valve kit is only for log sets having a width between 18″ to 30″.
Smart Home or RF Remote?
1. Looking for controlling and integrating your gas fireplace in your smartphone APP, and voice-control with hubs such as Amazon Echo, Google Assistant speakers, we recommend the Smart Home (SH) WiFi series for you. Such as “6VK SH3002” model.
2. Looking for a traditional, direct, simple remote control solution by holding a transmitter handset in hand, then the RF type remote control kits are the best fit your needs. Such as “8VK TX340” model.
Choose No Leak AA, AAA batteries.
For battery-powered devices, we strongly recommend the Energizer AA & AAA Lithium Batteries, of listing ASIN: B00EAKP8S0 or equal quality batteries which are Leak-Proof.
ATTENTION: Any corrosion caused by batteries leak will damage remote control devices. This issue will be regarded as improper use by user.
